18 May Microsoft now rewarding Edge users.
Recently Microsoft has been pushing very hard for users to commit to Microsoft Edge. There’s been popups, e-mails and articles released by the Microsoft marketing team claiming Edge to be faster & more efficient than other browsers. Since the latest Microsoft build however, you may have started noticing a new ‘Microsoft Rewards’ program.
Reward programs are nothing new in the technology world. Affiliate programs, surveys, ad clicks are all ways to monetise the Internet. Microsoft rewards puts the money back in your pocket. But, is it worth it? How much is a Microsoft Reward Point worth?
First, let’s look at how you can earn points.

We signed up an account and looked at how much Microsoft reward points are worth… And as we suspected… It needs A LOT of work. We took for example a Gift Card valued at just $3. A $3 gift card is worth 2,380 points, making each point worth only $0.00126 of a cent.
Now let’s revisit the list above and look at the dollar value of the same rewards.

That’s right, the only real difference is the ability to earn 120 more points per day through searches. A whopping cash in of $0.189 per day!
